Warehouse management application. Facelift UX/UI project for Web UI.

​

​Original Main View displayed Advanced Search UI on the half of screen area.  This "permanent" search form which "wasted" screen real estate but mainly was used for simple search (95% of use cases).

 

Functionality issues and proposed changes:

1) Default value for advanced search was "None" which displayed empty table at the start. It was changed in new design to display recently manipulated data useful for follow-up or exporting/reporting/sharing.

2) All action buttons like "Export as PDF, Excel, Word, CSV" were enabled during empty table and generated empty files when pressed. After the changes, default table always displayed recent data and export functionality is useful from the start.

3) Advanced Search capability took huge amount of real estate and was used mainly for basic search of pick tickets and/or dates (From/To). Proposed one line search that was able to find any alpha numerical data including dates. However to get precise data and comprehensive search Advanced Search was redesigned as floating window.

Cleaner look and feel:

1) I designed new logo for "Rex11"

2) Created icons and all other graphic UI elements.
