Reports management.
UX solution: one page application

Reports default screen:

Table view holds Report templates with the latest report status, brief data and run time stamp.

Each row is expandable to display full form settings. There are no pop-ups, there is no navigation to new window.  Users are kept on the same screen.

Only one row can be expanded at one time, as the use-case does not call for settings comparison  between multiple reports templates.

When one row is expanded it pushes other rows down allowing to use screen real-estate to display settings content in read only mode. Expanding another row will collapse previously opened one.

New Report pane pushes entire table down, because it takes the same real-estate as Edit. No need to navigate to another screen or to use pop-up window.

To edit displayed settings user has to activate edit mode by clicking on Edit icon. This turns the form from read to edit mode, as read-only mode was protecting the information from accidental change.

When scheduled report is generated it is sent automatically to defined recipients via email. Clicking on Preview button in received email will display a snapshot of the latest generated report. .

The Admin can see preview of New Report and its layout. It uses dummy data to create a sample report.

Any report, either scheduled or not, can be generated on-demand directly from the settings pane. In this case real data will be displayed in Report preview.

I hired Baruch to UX Expert position for centralized and on-device management security application. He was reporting to me. Baruch proved himself as very experienced and talented professional.  He was leading Radware UX effort to transition on-device security management application from desktop to the web UI on cloud infrastructure.

His UX skills, dedication and positive approach to people added a value to success of Radware products and services. Baruch created an elaborate style guide for Radware Web UI.  It was implemented in several products, such as Radware Cloud WAF and Total Vision for Centralized Device Management security application. It serviced multiple Radware projects and teams, and Baruch was instrumental in working with PMs and developers.

After short time I noticed Baruch is an easygoing person, quickly establishing positive and productive relationships with co-workers and managers, took active part with PMs in UX research. He synchronized UX effort through different teams and projects in Radware, supervising on exact implementation of approved UX decisions. PMs and developers enjoyed his dedication to UX, his support and mentoring.

In addition Baruch efficiently supervised external UI/UX contractors working for Radware. I was happy with Baruch’s work and can gladly recommend him as UX Expert.
